Parents accuse Pasadena woman of fatally shooting their son
Parents are suing a Pasadena resident over the shooting death of their son.
Yolanda and Gregorio Barrera filed a wrongful death suit on Sept. 2 in the Harris County District Court against Pasadena resident Sandra Martinez.
The Barreras say that on Sept. 4, 2009, they suffered emotional and financial damage when Martinez intentionally shot and killed their son, Cesar Barrera.
According to the brief, Martinez shot Barrera in the head while he slept.
The Barreras are seeking wrongful death damages and court costs. They are representing themselves in the case.
