Pasadena Family Dollar named in slip-and-fall suit
A woman is suing over claims she sustained serious injuries while shopping at Family Dollar in Pasadena.
Helen Rodriguez filed a lawsuit on Aug. 31 in the Harris County District Court against Family Dollar, Inc. and Family Dollar Stores of Texas, citing negligence. Rodriguez says that on March 13, she sustained serious injuries when she fell while shopping at Family Dollar Store, located at 901 Shaver in Pasadena.
According to the brief, Rodriguez slipped and fell in a puddle of liquid soap, dislocating her shoulder and injuring her elbow, arm and knee.
Rodriguez is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Donna Roth.
