HS Volleyball Preview: Memorial vs. La Porte

Memorial visits the courts of La Porte in girls high school volleyball action today. 

The Mavericks are 7-3 on the season, losing 3-1 to Alvin in their last match on Friday.    Jessica Elkins leads the squad with an average of 2.67 kills per game.   After today's contest, Memorial will host North Shore on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 6:30 p.m.   The Bulldogs are 6-7 on the season, taking three games against Eisenhower in a match on Friday.   Kendall Wombie leads the team with an average of 3.57 kills per contest.   Following Tuesday's game, La Porte will visit Rayburn on Friday at 6:30 p.m.    Today's first serve begins at 6:30 p.m.
