On Aug. 17, the Texas Chiropractic College and El Centro de Corazon formally teamed up to provide services to El Centro’s Eastwood Clinic patients.
This partnership will allow both organizations to fulfill their missions. The TTC’s mission is to provide patient-centered educational programs, and El Centro de Corazon seeks to promote health in individuals and the community. Through this partnership, TTC students will have a chance to practice what they have been learning while offering chiropractic care to El Centro patients.
“This new collaboration with El Centro de Corazon will not only provide our students with a unique opportunity, but it also allows us, as a College, to serve the community by making quality chiropractic care available to a segment of the Houston population that might not otherwise have access to it,” Barry Wiese, dean of clinics at TCC, said in a press release.
The partnership will begin in September and is expected to be able to serve 30 to 60 patients each week. For more information, contact El Centro de Corazon at 713-926-6229.
