Kroger blamed for slip and fall
A woman is suing after, she says, she injured her right shoulder, hand and hip while shopping at a Pasadena-area Kroger.
Leslie Douglas filed a lawsuit on Aug. 10 in the Harris County District Court against the Kroger Co., citing negligence.
Douglas says that on Aug. 15, 2009, she injured her right shoulder, hand and hip while inside Kroger, located at 3550 Spencer Highway in Pasadena. According to the brief, Douglas slipped and fell in water left on the floor as she walked from the store’s banking area.
Douglas is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Baytown attorney Paul Klinger, Jr.
Harris County District Court Case No. 2011-47311.
