Deer Park PD to hold Citizens Police Academy
The Deer Park Police Department is now accepting applications for Class 24 of the Citizens Police Academy.
The academy is for people who live, work or attend school or church in the City of Deer Park and are 18 years of age or older and wish to take part in the non-physical, interactive and informative program.
Classes are held from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday nights. The first class will be held on Aug. 18, and graduation night will be Nov. 17. The deadline for applications will be Monday, Aug. 15.
