Neighborhood Centers offer free health screenings, school supplies
Walmart and Neighborhood Centers Inc. are hosting back-to-school health fairs where they will provide free school supplies, health screenings, immunizations and more.
There will be five health fairs throughout the Houston area from July 30 to Aug. 20. The fairs will provide immunizations for children up to 18 who have a record of the immunizations they have received; health screenings, including vision and dental; insurance enrollment; cooking demonstrations; and games with prizes.
All services are free and will be held at the following locations and times:
8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 30, at the Ripley House Neighborhood Center, 4410 Navigation.
8 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Independence Heights Neighborhood Center, 4400 North Freeway.
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at the Baker-Ripley Neighborhood Center, 6500 Rookin.
8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Aug. 18, at La Potre Neighborhood Center, 526 Jancinto.
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Cleveland-Ripey Neighborhood Center, 7902 Fairmont Parkway.
