Council member Mike Sullivan to host District E Town Hall meeting
Council member Mike Sullivan will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting in the South Belt-Ellington area on Wednesday, May 11, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Residents in the area are invited to attend and voice their concerns, needs and suggestions for the district at this meeting. There will be an open microphone available for residents, after a few brief remarks by the council member.
Representatives from the City of Houston’s Public Works and Engineering Department, Solid Waste Department, Parks and Recreational Department, General Services Department, Houston Police Department and Houston Fire Department will also be available to answer questions specifically for the South Belt-Ellington area.
"Changes are coming that will affect District E and the City of Houston all together," says Sullivan. "With the various issues we are tasked with this year, it is extremely important to me that I know what is important to my constituents."
The meeting will be held in the Marie Flickinger Building Theater on the San Jacinto College South campus, located at 13735 Beamer Road.
