Where are the lowest gas prices in Pasadena this week?

Despite an increase in this week's gas prices, the Pasadena area's average was a bit lower compared to metro, state and national averages.

As of April 20, data gathered from gasbuddy.com for 48 stations in Pasadena, Deer Park and La Porte listed an average of $3.741 per gallon of regular unleaded gasoline. The average price for Texas was $3.754, the Houston average was $3.752 and the average nationwide was $3.815.

Last week's average for the Pasadena area was $3.682.

The highest and lowest prices could both be found in Pasadena. The lowest price in the area was about $3.64 per gallon, reportedly being charged at Murphy USA (5204 Fairmont Parkway and Pansy Street) and at the H-E-B store (6210 Fairmont Parkway and Space Center Boulevard).

As for the highest price in the area, a Shell station at 829 W. Pasadena Freeway and Richey Street was said to offer $3.89 per gallon of regular unleaded gasoline.
