KRIV: Gambling arrests lead to tax investigation
A Pasadena-area gambling bust in which two Stafford residents, a Pearland
man, and three others were arrested has also led to a tax investigation,
Houston Fox affiliate KRIV reports.
Harris County prosecutors say business owners Terry, Nancy and Alton
Donalson made millions of dollars operating illegal gaming rooms.
Keith and Correa are accused of collecting money from all the game rooms and
dropping the cash off at a warehouse. The money eventually ended up in a
bank, which is how prosecutors were able to determine the amount allegedly
taken in over a more than 5 year period.
