La Porte Police Department blotter, Feb. 15

The La Porte Police Department recently reported the following incidents:

An accident in a parking lot turned into an alleged assault in the
1600 block of West Main Street on Feb. 12, police said. According to a
police report, a car struck a parked red 1998 Chevrolet Silverado on
Feb. 12 sometime before 2:09 a.m. The report states that a passenger
then exited the vehicle and assaulted the driver of the Silverado.
Police said they are seeking two women in connection with the
incident.

According to police, two male Boxer dogs were stolen in the 300 block
of South Carroll Avenue on Feb. 14 between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. The animals
are valued at $800.

Police said they arrested a man on charges of possession of a
controlled substance in the 500 block of Nortrh 12th Street on Feb. 15
around 5:05 p.m. Police allege the suspect had 12.800 grams of cocaine
as well as 1.000 gram of marijuana. A tan 1984 Toyota Corolla is said
to have been involved in the incident.

Police said that an incident of assault with bodily injury as well as
an incident of reckless damage or destruction occurred near a gas
station in the 9700 block of Fairmont Parkway on Feb. 14 sometime
before 9:50 p.m. A police report states that $100 in damage was done
to the passenger window of a black 2001 Kia Sportage.
