Pasadena residents embroiled in shooting suit
Severo Fuentes, of Pasadena, filed a lawsuit on Jan. 24 in the Harris County District Court against Pasadena residents Eric Sanchez, Rosa Sanchez, Efren Carrazco and Kevin Carrazco, alleging negligence.
Fuentes says that on Dec. 7, 2009, he was shot by Kevin Carrazco while visiting the home of Eric and Rosa Sanchez, located at 1141 Crenshaw Road in Pasadena. According to the brief, after Eric Sanchez asked his son to remove two guns from the family van to put them in a safe place, Kevin Carrazco took one of the guns, a Beretta 9mm, pulled the slide back, pointed it at Fuentes and pulled the trigger.
Kevin Carrazco was charged with aggravated assault (serious bodily injury), because the bullet entered the lower right portion of Fuentes’ jaw and exited through the left rear portion of his neck.
Defendant Fuentes is seeking all damages allowed by law and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Bellaire attorney Mark Weycer.
