Pasadena dad charged in sex assault of 4 daughters
A Pasadena man is in the Harris County jail with a million dollar bail after being accused of sexually assaulting his four teenage daughters.
The 54-year-old man, who the Houston Chronicle is not naming to protect the identity of his daughters, is charged with four counts of sexual assault of a child under the age of 14. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
One of the girls is the man's stepdaughter.
In state District Judge Kevin Fine's court this morning, prosecutors said the father abused the girls for years beginning when they were between the ages of 11 and 13. The girls are now in their late teens.
Mike Trent, the man's attorney, said he is still investigating the allegations and what amount of bail his client can make.
"I don't know a lot of people who can make a million dollar bond," Trent said.
