Deer Park Police Department blotter, Jan. 14
The Deer Park Police Department recently reported the following incidents:
On Jan. 11, William Erik Muniz, 39, was stopped by officers around 3:51 a.m., police said. He then was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended and failure to maintain financial responsibility. The arrest occurred in the 2500 block of Georgia Avenue.
Jason Dale Kashinski, 36, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing in the 1100 block of Alice Lane around 5:38 a.m. on Jan. 13, police said.
Police report that a burglary occurred in the 700 block of Amherst Lane between 10 p.m. on Jan. 12 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 13. Two laptop computers, two flashlights, 120 Xanax tablets and approximately $1,500 in currency were reported stolen. The total value of the items was about $4,900.
