HS girls basketball: Rayburn defeats Pasadena

Rayburn defeated Pasadena in District 22-5A hoops action on Tuesday.

Rayburn won the game 49-31, moving to 14-12 overall and 1-1 in district play.

Maeghan Scott, a junior guard, scored a game-high 14 points in the victory.

Rayburn will visit Pasadena Memorial on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s loss dropped the Eagles to 1-11 on the year and 0-2 in district games.

G. Medina scored eight points in the defeat.

Pasadena will visit Deer Park on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
