Deal of Week: Builder completes 2 new facilities at Port
Satterfield & Pontikes Construction has finished building a $22 million project that included two new buildings for the Port of Houston at the Bayport Container Terminal in Pasadena.
One building will house terminal administration, including support staff and U.S. Customs. The port is also seeking LEED certification for the two-story, 35,000-square-foot building.
A separate 65,500-square-foot maintenance and repair building includes offices, equipment repair bays, overhead bridge cranes, a fueling station and storage. It will be used to repair vehicles and tractors.
