HS boys basketball: MacArthur defeats Rayburn

MacArthur defeated Rayburn in boys high school basketball on Tuesday.

The Generals won the game 62-43, moving to 8-14 overall and 0-2 in district play. Alex Flores, a senior guard scored a game-high 24 points in the victory. MacArthur will host Alief Hastings on Friday at 7 p.m.

Tuesday’s loss dropped Rayburn to 7-14 on the season. Albert Espinoza scored 10 points in the defeat. Rayburn will visit Baytown Sterling on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
