Woman found dead, man wounded in truck in Pasadena
A woman was found fatally shot and a man covered in blood in a pickup early Monday, Pasadena police said.
A passerby called Pasadena police about 10:15 a.m. Monday, saying a man with blood on him was in a pickup parked at the Palace Suites motel, 5316 Spencer Highway, officials said.
Pasadena police arrived and found the man along with a woman who had been shot.
"She was deceased at the scene," said Pasadena police spokesman Vance Mitchell.
"The male subject did have a major laceration to his head. We're assuming that was a gunshot," Mitchell said.
He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center, where his condition was unavailable later Monday.
Their identities were being withheld pending notificaiton of next-of-kin. The motive remains under investigation, police said.
