Woman sues over injuries at Pasadena store
A woman is suing after, she says, a chair collapsed in a Pasadena jewelry store.
Elfreda King filed a lawsuit on Dec. 17 in the Harris County District Court against James Avery Craftsman, a jewelry store located at 5648 Fairmont Parkway in Pasadena, alleging negligence.
King says that on Aug. 2, 2009, she was seriously injured while shopping at the defendant’s store, when the chair in which she was sitting collapsed.
King is seeking compensatory damages as well as court costs.
She is being represented in the case by Bellaire attorney Paul Higdon.
