HS boys basketball: La Porte falls to Elkins
The La Porte Bulldogs (8-8) lost to the Elkins Knights (14-2) 68-40 Friday in boys basketball.
Elkins led 30-20 at half and ran away outscoring La Porte 38-20 during the second half.
Elkins junior guard Branford Jones led all players in scoring with 19 points and is averaging more than 14 points per game this season.
La Porte 5-foot, 7-inch senior guard Nathan Adler led the Bulldogs in scoring with eight points.
