HS girls basketball: Pasadena Memorial falls to Pearland
Pearland had a decisive 39-27 victory over Memorial in girls basketball action on Tuesday.
It was a low-scoring first half as Memorial led 14-10. Pearland scored 14 and 15 points in its final two quarters to blow the game open.
The win brought Pearland to 11-3 on the season.
Freshman guard Keara Hudnall scored a team-high 13 points in the victory.
Pearland next visits Clear Brook on Friday at 7 p.m.
Memorial fell to 4-5 with the loss.
Sophomore Jessica Elkins had 10 points in the losing effort.
In its next game, Memorial plays host to Sterling on Friday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m.
