HS boys basketball preview: Pasadena v. Mayde Creek

Pasadena plays Mayde Creek in District 22-5A tournament basketball action on Thursday.

The game is a part of the Texas Invitational, which is running all day today.

Pasadena will play again today at 1:30 p.m. against La Porte.

These are Pasadena's first two games of the season.

Mayde Creek is 1-0 on the year, beating Cypress Fair 64-62.

Dominique Taylor scored 27 points in the Mayde Creek victory. Eric Stubbs, a 6-foot, 3-inch junior guard, added 14 points in the winning effort.

Next up is a visit from Cypress Falls on Tuesday.
