Pasadena company sued over death of employee
Diandria Brooks, Jada Anderson and Gloria Anderson filed suit in Harris County District Court on Thursday, Nov. 11, against ES&H and ES&H of Texas claiming that the company was negligent in the death of Floyd Anderson.
In the suit it is alleged that this past July, Anderson, a tank cleaner for ES&H's Pasadena branch, was working when an equipment failure deprived him of adequate oxygen and clean air. He sought immediate help, but was not provided any. Despites wearing the appropriate safety attire and the efforts by emergency personnel, Anderson died.
Brooks and Anderson's daughters are seeking damages for the wrongful death, claiming that ES&H did not provide or maintain a safe working environment and site. They also are seeking pre- and post-judgment interest, exemplary damages, court costs and any other damages that occurred.
Brooks and Anderson's daughters are being represented in the case by the Houston lawyer Wavery R. Nolley.
