Pasadena's Bayport Polymer's Plant was demolished at 8:12 a.m. today.
LyondellBasell spokesman Gayden Cooper called the demolition a success"
"It was a very successful demolition that was safe and controlled. We had a great team working on this and we are very proud of their accomplishment," Cooper said.
Global Scrap & Dismantling was the demolition contractor.
