Customer sues nail salon over fall
A woman is suing a nail salon after allegedly being knocked unconscious.
Alice Brown filed suit in Harris County District Court on Nov. 2, stating that TLC Nails and Tanning failed to keep the premises of its salon safe.
In her suit, Brown alleges she suffered a sprained back and neck, stomach pain, and vascular thoracic outlet syndrome when, after her pedicure, she slipped and fell, knocking herself unconscious on the salon's floor.
It was the responsibility of the salon, she says, to keep the floor dry for the safety of its customers.
Brown is being represented by Houston attorney Patrick Flynn. She is seeking compensatory damages, as well as court costs.
