Patron Pizza sued for contract breach
Two men are suing restaurant co-owners after allegedly discovering their names were not listed as one-third owners of the restaurant.
Jose Dominguez and Richard Henriquez filed suit in Harris County District Court on Oct. 14, stating that Erpad International, Carlos Davila, Alma Vega and Rafael Vega conspired to break their agreement with them in order to steal from them the one-third portion of the Patron Pizza in Pasadena they owned together.
By not listing Dominguez and Henriquez as co-owners, they allege their share of the business will be vulnerable to others taking it from them.
In their suit, Dominguez and Henriquez allege they will suffer financial ruin as a result of the defendants unethical and illegal business practices.
It was the responsibility of the Erpad International, Carlos Davila, Alma Vega and Rafael Vega, they say, to honor the terms of their contract agreement.
Dominguez and Henriquez are being represented by Houston attorney Carlos Peniche. They are seeking an injunction, damages, court costs, as well as attorney's fees.
