Austin Rainer finished with 195 passing yards and threw touchdown passes to Payden McVey and Chase Gibbs while Demetrius Banks scored
on 12-yard and 18-yard runs helping the Deer Park Deer (6-1) blowout the Pasadena Eagles (3-4) 45-0 Friday night at Veterans Stadium. McVey
averaged 23.8 yards per catch and led all receivers with119 yards. The Deer defense also caused a fumble that was returned 18 yards for a
touchdown by Juan Villafana. Running back Jarrod Blocker led the team with 62 rushing yards and also had a rushing score. Pasadena could only
muster 149 yards of total offense compared to Deer Park's 407 yards of total offense. The Eagles Chris Ungacta averaged 4.7 yards per carry and
finished with 109 rushing yards while Nick Bernal caught both of Pasadena quarterback Rene Fuentes completions for 17 yards.
