Construction worker sues, says he hasn't been paid
A Pasadena man is suing a Houston business claiming that it owes him more than $26,000 for construction work he did for them.
Jimenez Antonio filed a lawsuit on Oct. 8 in the Harris County District Court against W.C. Group Inc., claiming breach of contract.
Antonio claims that on Sept. 1, 2008, he entered into an agreement with the defendant to provide construction and remodeling services. Although the defendant paid part of the money owed, on Dec. 1, 2008, they defaulted on the agreement by not paying the balance of $26,450.
The plaintiff is seeking damages including actual damages of money owed, interest, court costs and any other damages he is entitled to by the court.
Antonio is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Gladys Osagiede.
