Three Pasadena men charged with burglary
The Friendswood Police Department reported that it arrested four burglary suspects Thursday morning, three of whom are from Pasadena.
The suspects were arrested at the Skyhawk Apartments in Friendswood.
At approximately 3:34 a.m., a patrolman was alerted by a newspaper deliveryman that several individuals were seen inside the complex, possibly breaking into vehicles.
Police then set up a perimeter outside of the complex and searched for the individuals.
Police reported that the suspect vehicle was located while attempting to leave the complex, and three adult males and one 15-year old female were taken into custody. Among their possessions were stolen wallets and several GPS units.
Eduardo Castro, 18, of Pasadena, Miguel Segundo, 19, of Pasadena, and Hector Vasquez, 18, of Pasadena were all charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. All four suspects were charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
The police found eight vehicles that had been burglarized, with the suspects gaining access by popping locks and unlocking doors.
The suspects are also being questioned about a number of vehicle burglaries reported at Crystal Bay Apartments, 2323 W. Bay Area Blvd., earlier in the night. The vehicle the suspects were occupying also matches the description of a vehicle wanted by Houston Police investigating a hit and run crash.
The juvenile was released to a parent after processing but bond has not been designated for the three men. All four suspects had tattoos indicating possible affiliation with the MS13 gang, but this had not been confirmed.
