Deer Park's Powers scores late in Mary-Hardin loss
Deer Park HS grad Jordan Powers scored late for the Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders women’s soccer team in a loss to Concordia Texas on Saturday.
Powers’ goal was her first of the season. Last year, Powers scored three goals and had four assists. Jordan started all 18 matches and had one game-winning goal.
She is the daughter of Sharon Slaton of Deer Park, Texas.
She was an All-District soccer player at Deer Park High School and also earned Team MVP honors. Powers also lettered in track and cross-country.
