Fatal traffic accident in Pasadena
An 86-year-old woman was killed in a traffic accident in the 8400 block of Howard about 1:35 p.m. last Friday, according to the Houston Police Department.
The woman was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.
The HPD reported that the woman was traveling south on Neal Street in a 1993 beige Buick Regal and failed to yield the right of way while leaving the stop sign at the intersection of Howard.
The 18-year-old man who was driving the 2002 green Dodge 1500 pickup truck traveling west on Howard struck the driver's side of the Buick, which hit a curb and flipped over.
The investigation continues and no charges have been filed.
